I also purchases this game on the VirtualConsole, after playing it in ROM format and at a friends place on a physical system.  As this game does not emulate as well as some other games, I was unable to pass a specific point and gave up.  Now that I have it on my Wii, I can now re-attempt it's defeat.

So far, I am very happy with how the game processes and at how much there is to do in the game world.
